BLESS (Basic Literacy Educating Saving Souls)

Every year we hold a change drive to raise money to help build schools and purchase materials for BLESS. The BLESS program, presented by ACEM (Accelerated Christian Education Ministries), is active in reaching out to indigent and underprivileged children in countries around the world, such as the Philippines and India. BLESS Centers teach children reading and basic math skills but, most important, introduce them to Jesus Christ through God’s Word. This year alone we raised $2825 which will open 14 centers and allow 141 students to attend the 12 week program!
   Many children and families are being impacted as a result of people willing to give of their time and resources to the Lord. BLESS is a great opportunity to encourage students to become involved in world missions.

The Treat Tract ministry is an outreach ACS does every year on Halloween. The Lord gave us a vision to put LIGHT into such a dark night! The students collect fun size candy, then we place Scripture verses on each one, and hand them out throughout the neighborhoods of York County! Last year we handed out over 2,600 tracks!

What better way at Christmas time for our  students to share the Gospel than with  individually wrapped candy canes that have  Scripture verses on them. Last year we handed out 4,500 candy canes. Our float is "Jesus  is the Reason For the Season!" Come out  and support this outreach on the 3rd Saturday of  December!

In 2006, The Academy Christian School began as a home school under the instruction of Wendy Lipe. In 2007, the Lord opened up an opportunity for us to move to Grace Ministries in Rock Hill, and become a state recognized Christian school through American Association of Christian Schools and South Carolina Association of Christian Schools.  We started with only 7 students, 2 teachers, and a heartbeat for missions.  In 2012, the Lord blessed us with our own campus, located on West Border Road in Rock Hill, where we now have the ability to serve many families.

We here at ACS provide a unique one-on- one learning environment with a quality, college preparatory, Bible-based education using the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) Curriculum. Our students  also have the option upon entering high school to receive dual enrollment college credit for higher education. Along with that, we maintain a level of integrity with our families as we have moral guidelines and stipulations in place for those who attend our school.

Proverbs 1:2-7 (KJV)

2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;

3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;

4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.
