Academy Christian School
"Home of the Lions"
The Treat Tract ministry is an outreach ACS does every year on Halloween. The Lord gave us a vision to put LIGHT into such a dark night! The students collect fun size candy, then we place Scripture verses on each one, and hand them out throughout the neighborhoods of York County! Last year we handed out over 1,500 tracks!
What better way at Christmas time for our students to share the Gospel than with individually wrapped candy canes that have Scripture verses on them. Last year we handed out 4,000 candy canes. Our float is "Jesus is the Reason For the Season!" Come out and support this outreach on the 3rd Saturday of December!
Every year we collect items for OCC – this is a project that means so much to the Academy Family. We are asking that each student fill at least 2 shoeboxes with items and that families collect as many items as they can!
Please, no liquids!
Items may include:
*Toiletries (no liquids please – bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc)
*Hard Candy (nothing that will melt or anything with natural fruit flavors)

Every year we hold a change drive to raise money to help build schools and purchase materials for BLESS. The BLESS program, presented by ACEM (Accelerated Christian Education Ministries), is active in reaching out to indigent and underprivileged children in countries around the world, such as the Philippines and India. BLESS Centers teach children reading and basic math skills but, most important, introduce them to Jesus Christ through God’s Word.
Many children and families are being impacted as a result of people willing to give of their time and resources to the Lord. BLESS is a great opportunity to encourage students to become involved in world missions.

The Academy Christian School began as a home school under the instruction of Wendy Lipe. In 2006, the Lord opened up an opportunity for us to move to Grace Ministries in Rock Hill, and become a state recognized Christian school through American Association of Christian Schools and South Carolina Association of Christian Schools. Starting with only 7 students, 2 teachers, and a heartbeat for missions, we have grown tremendously over the past 11 years. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."- Jer. 29:11
